Neil, Thanks for your reply. But that doesn’t quite get it. I eventually figured it out for myself. There are two Japanese keyboard layouts supported by Win 10 Japanese language pack. Simply selecting the “Japanese! Here’s what works. Click that. You need to reboot for the keyboard mapping to take effect. Hi Hank, glad you got it sorted! It’s the same instructions as I gave you up to the Add a Keyboard part, but I didn’t know what keyboards you had already added, so left that bit up to you.

I didn’t know a reboot was in order though for the mapping to start working, so that’s useful for the future.
